waste of money

instead of putting more money into new charter schools, maybe the state should clean up or get rid of the ones they already have. what a HUGE mess most charter schools are.

What a diverse group of schools. This is proof that charters are filling needs of families. When you start to see niche-market schools like a sports medicine school and an online, inner-city school, you know that charters are expanding to meet the needs of all children in the state.

Charters have one major problem in this state, they simply cannot accomodate all the families that want to escape from their neighborhood schools. It makes sense to fund these sort of schools instead of wasting more money on Districts.

Insanity...doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Charters provide choice within the public education system. Parents vote with thier feet, if the school meets the students needs they stay, if it does not meet the needs of the student the parents choose to leave.

Eventually the school shuts down if they don't do their job well.

Great for students, great for taxpayers!!
