Not to be petty

What happened on Friday night was "an" 8-5 loss....a 8-5 loss is grammatically incorrect..... Once again.... Not to be petty....

I'm probably...

One of 10 people who gives a darn about the Bees; for something other than a "family outing," in this city. Their pitching staff is terrible right now and the closers are putrid! I think the pitching coach needs to be let go and if that doesn't work Mitchell needs to be canned!

wrong

Actually "an" is correct since eight begins with a vowel.

good to see....

that I wasn't alone in thinking that an otherwise great article started off with a grammatical error... Is that petty of us to be concerned about someone else's word use? Why are the Bees doing so poorly? Weren't they leading the division at the beginning of the season? Or was that last season? I'm over a year disenfranchised from Utah. Currently living in Washington, I don't keep all that up to date with the Bees.... Though they are often on my mind.... When did the field change the name? What happened to Franklin Covey? Has the electronic world put them out of business?
