My mission was the best 3 months of my life.

I'll be honest - my mission wasn't really "the best two years" of my life like college or high school sometimes was. My mission was not fun. It was HARD, GRUELING work, work, work. It was horribly discouraging at times. Sometimes I felt forgotten, having gone months without hearing from my family or friends. Being away from members and other missionaries (except my companion) in areas where the Church was not established was difficult when I was sent to these areas.

But I am so glad I did it. I would not give up the growth and learning the two years that it was.

I think about my mission every day - even 20 years later a day doesn't go by that I think of something I leaned on my mission.
