Nu Skin should move to a normal distribution system and earn some respect.
What an embarrassment to the state of Utah. These are nothing more than thinly disguised pyramids. When on earth are they going to be shut down? Think of how many people had to be made worse off for those millionaires to be created. How would you like to make your living by making so many others poorer?
It is a shame that these scams are still legal. So many people have been harmed by them. Studies show that 99% lose money. The only ones who gain are those at the very top of the pyramid. Jon Taylor is right on target. This is a very deceitful business model. There is no economic value to any of this. Hopefully the Obama administration will get rid of these (finally) Google Pyramid Scheme Alert and False Profits for more info.
These comments amaze me. If you don't like the products, don't buy them. If you don't like the business, start your own. Nu Skin is an example of success through honest leadership and quality product innovation. The results speak for themselves. Stop knocking success...go out and create your own.
While I agree Nu Skin marketing is ridiculous... I'd ask what was so sound about Chevy or GM? Perhaps they would've benefitted from such a strategy.
Pyramid schemes are illegal so check your facts!! Nuskin is a totally legitimate respectable company built on integrity and great products and is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The only people who fail in this business are the ones who would fail in any other business. There are millions of people who open restaurants every year, the majority fail within 12 months. Does that mean that owning a restaurant is a bad business choice or does it depend on the competency of the person running the restaurant?!!! The people who fail in nuskin are given exactly the same opportunity and tools to work with as the ones who succeed. The difference is the successful people actually DO something instead of looking for someoneor something else to blame. There are plenty of successful people who have been working with nuskin for less than a year. These people build successful businesses by getting off their asses and doing something, with the support and help of an amazing company with a fantastic business model. They are entrepreneurs who make a life instead of making excuses. I agree with Dennis 100 per cent!!!
I disagree that MLM is not a scam. It is because the distributors are making all kinds of false claims and the companies do nothing or little to stop it. Also, if you see how many that "lead" are paid to start these markets you would be surprised. Then the odds are stacked against any normal person to find income in calling everyone they know and meet in the mall, etc. It takes a very special kind of person, like a brain washed mormon who can blab and blab about stuff that has no scientific backing (like their imbecilc religion). No normal, ethical, and honest person can do this busines. I NEVER met one who has succeed and NEVER lied about it. Jon Taylor is ABSOLUTELY right....
Read his book and then make up your mind.
