Thank you for a beautifully written article.
I know that Donny Osmond sang One Bad Apple. Did MJ sing it, too?
Sadly, success can actually be bad for us (as Paul wisely learned with his "thorn"). Michael Jackson possibly would have kept his skin color, his nose, and probably a bit more sense had he just been an okay performer.
As Joan noted, One Bad Apple was sung by the Osmonds, not Michael Jackson.
And I think my wife would disagree with your recommendation that I be like Charles Dickens. Though he is my favorite author, he was far from being a faithful and loving husband.
Still, thanks for your poignant encouragement for us to keep the inner child within us alive.
Thank you for a great article; when William Jefferson Clinton spoke at Richard Nixon's funeral in 1994, he said a person should not be remembered for just one thing in life, especially their worst moment. We should all dance and sing more often.
nicely written | 12:54 p.m You have a point. I left my feeling about Nixon behind after he died.
I was wrong to follow the meanness of Conservatism. I should have been trying to help people instead of take advantage of them. I dont hate anyone anymore. For the first time in my life I dont hate somebody. I have nothing but good feelings toward people. Ive found Jesus Christ - Its that simple. Hes made a difference.
Lee Atwater, Karl Rove's teacher.
How knows, Cheney may find redemption too.
What does this have to do with Jerry's article?
According to Wikipedia, The Jackson 5 chose to record ABC instead, and they nor Michael Jackson never recorded One Bad Apple. It was the Osmonds who chose to record it instead.
The Jacksons did choose to record "ABC" while the Osmonds recorded "One Bad Apple" but another coincidence was when Michael Jackson recorded"Dirty Diana" Donnie Osmond recorded "Dirty Sanchez" right around the same time. Both families are musical dynasties!
welcome on my kid's wall as a poster ...he just doesn't represent all sides of the picture to get there..and i don't care what the world thinks ..because there would be no sleep overs. he was a victum who bought the victum!
