Let's hope this 20th pick of Maynor turns out to be what the Jazz are hoping for: a decent PG backup for D-Will.

Fans railed on Knight's ineffectiveness as a shot-maker, and Price never could seem to get the hang of running a team. Price as 3rd string if Maynor works out could be just what the Jazz need.

If this Maynor kid turns out to be anything like Sam-I-Am Cassel .. as he was compared to.. The Jazz will have done okay for themselves.

To see how maynor turns out. I youtubed some video of him to see what we just got. He looks like a great point guard. However, he's playing in a weak conference, and most of the video i could find consisted of 2 games, one being the trademark 10 seconds of the duke game when he hit the clutch shot. Which is great, but i'm kind of nervous that the only highlight videos i could find were wrapped up in 2 games. But even so, he looks promising, hope he bodes well for the team. I'm more excited to see how Goran Suton will do. I hope he can outplay Fes and we can ship him off to another team, i think Fes should have gotten the hang of things by now, i'm sick of waiting around for him to catch on.

After 4 years in college Maynor is what he is, I don't see a big change in his game. What he can change is his weight and strength. He weighs 175lbs now if he is up to 190lbs by training camp then we got something. Jerry is pretty simple the pass to playing time is defense and a 175lbs Maynor is going to be thrown around like a rag doll. I know he is here to run the team and shoot outside jumpers etc as a backup but if he can't play defense he will never leave the bench like Morris Almond who had all the physical tool but just never fiqured it out.
