if you really don't want the money and want to gripe about it then show some then don't take it or touch it!
You'll then have to be subjected to all kinds of onerous federal regulations and control. "Just Say No!" Take our country back.
You don't understand. Those of us who believe in a more Federalist system (Federal regulation of air and water pollution, and federal laws governing anti-discrimination, fair labor practices, anti-trust behavior, etc.) have taken our country back from from the libertarian, law-of-the-jungle forces that have controlled it for the past several decades DO want more Federal control of what some local no-nothings do. If federal safety rules are necessary to receive the funds, that is a good thing.
