Wow, we are watching the icons of an era pass before our eyes.
Let's hope he'll find more peace where he is than where he was.
Mark in Draper | 4:39 p.m. June 25, 2009
A pop icon has passed away. He'll be remembered as an Elvis Presley to many in the world.
.
Remember he was married to Elvis's daughter.
Never cared for him. Is that bad?
june 25 will always be MJ day in my heart
theywillbothbemissed
here come all the michael jackson music and then the tabloids will say he's been seen at Mc Donalds ..I'm going down there right now so i can be the crowd.
My wife and I met the night MTV played the new "Thriller" music-video.
Wow....
Interesting that people with no personal connection to Mr. Jackson's life are willing to draw strong conclusions about allegations regarding molestation, despite the fact that he was exonerated in a court of law.
I feel sad that someone who was obviously so talented was destroyed by his father and others who were willing to exploit him throughout his life to make money with no one ever seemingly willing to do what would actually have been best for him. It's not that surprising that he ended up as strange as he did.
Too bad, it would have been great to see him make a comeback someday.
...but I have trouble mourning the passing of a man who admitted to "sharing his love and bed" with pre-teen boys, and who paid one of those boys $25 million for his silence. Why anyone would give even a dollar for the talents of this disturbed individual is beyond me.
Can we stop with the celeb worship already?
He ADMITTED "sharing his bed" with other people's young sons, and he paid an out-of-court settlement of $25 million to one of his victims. Remember that O.J. was "exonerated," too. You only give Michael Jackson a pass for his obvious and self-admitted crimes because you're a fan.
No more neverland, never again...thank goodness. Too bad he was so interesting in a weird way...child stardom strikes again.
He certainly had a troubled personal life, but he also made some really great music - music that still holds up extremely well today. RIP Michael.
I am two years younger than both Michael Jackson and Donny Osmond and have watched both their careers wax and wan for years.
And while Donny Osmond never reached the pinnacle of success professionally that Michael did, overall, his whole life is far more of an example to the world.
May Michael find peace in the next life, and his children comfort in this.
Thank you DN for the News, Fair and Balanced. Some of the Posters will not be.
My family and my prayers go out to his family during this time of extreme sadness.
I have always been and remain to this day a huge fan. I had Thriller playing on my Car CD just a couple of days ago.
I have several of his Albums on my, My Music.
In our house when someone musical dies, we play their songs. We have a lot of Michael Jackso,
I remember a young boy that Sang Gospel and Loved Jesus.
I also remember a fine entertainer, singer, song writer and person. THE MAN BYOUND ROCKED.
In the later years I have ignored the weirdness and stuck to the artist. Michael was Michael simple as that.
I do not believe he was a child molester in the strict sense of the word. He did love kids, perhaps a little to much.
What he did do was create thousands of Jobs, Union Scale, Family Wage Jobs.
What he did was create Music that we could dance to and have fun listening to.
Three Kids are without their Father.
I AM AND REMAIN A HUGE FAN.
What an amazing talent. But too bad his life was as tragic as his death.

I'm sorry that both Farrah and Michael are gone. My regret for Farrah is that her death today is now going to be completely overshadowed by Michael's.
The world will suffer a massive loss of the kind of talent it takes to grab one's crotch and ream out loud.
What you need to understand, while you are being Judgmental, sitting behind your little Anon user name. Is that this Man is Revered The World Over by Billions of People. Who are now in Tears because he died.
You can make No Friends slamming Michael Jackson today or any time in the near future.
If you do, people will hate you other Singles will not date you.
We all know Michael Jackson, was a little different and had some issues. WE ARE FANS, HUGE FANS, AND WE DO NOT CARE.
Michael Jackson is with Jesus they are most likely singing his Top Ten Greatest Hits. If you do not like that then get over it.
God will judge Michael Jackson and fairly.
Michael Jackson was 50. I at 63 stopped remembered, had a Prayer and Cried, My Wife is 47 she called me crying. Our Grandson 14 had his Tonsils Out Today, He Cried. My Daughter 19 Cried.
We Love Him we are Sad, for his kids, his family and us.
We will remember where we where when we heard that Michael Jackson Died. Peace.
This could be we used as a Great Teaching Moment, Handled with Love and Care.
