Let's hope that the Jazz can lend a tough guy to help out with the soft defense. It will be an interesting draft!

I don't think that Tyler Hansborough will be there @ 20 when the Jazz pick. If he is we'll be lucky as a leprechaun.

I don't know why everyone think the Jazz are always looking for hard nose players. Have you looked at Okur or Kirilenko lately? If tough players were really an importance to the Jazz they wouldn't have a center who is skinny and sitting around the three point line all game. The Jazz will never be great until they get a big, strong center who can defend the bigs of the Lakers .

Did anyone watch the LAker Magic final series? Gortat is a bruiser who has played in the NBA, and in NBA finals game. He runs the floor relentlessly, is a monster on swatting the balls from shooters and can go offensively with his back to the basket.

He is available but Jazz maybe you should look at tough nosed college recruits instead of proven NBA talent. That way the fans can be led on for another 3-5 years saying we are getting better and when Koufous has grandkids we will be back in the finals.

We can probably get Gortat for half of what we pay Okur. Come on Utah JAzz do something for us.

I'm kind of tired of watching the front office sit by and make little changes. Shake it up! From a business perspective, you'll still be keeping the fans engaged by bringing in new faces. And who knows, there may be a chance that you make a good trade. Please!

Marcin Gortat is not coming to Utah. The Magic will likely match any reasonable offer on him. Koufos and Fesenko are going to get their shot this season at getting minutes; they're our best bet for shotblocking big men in the post this season.

Everyone be sure and take a last look at my mock draft on Jazz Oracle before tonight's festivities!

Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!

Jazz management would prefer to keep 12 of the same 15 players if it was up to them.

See they like be comfortable so 'sloan and his sloanaholics" are kicking back breeding familiarity.

Hansbrough wil NOT be around at 20,

YOung may not either but he is just a brewer clone with no real upside ad no outside shot,

Jazz would be better off getting a backup point guard,

or perhaps a foriegn player like casspi.

JAzz needed shooting guard who can shoot not just defend. Orlando's Pietrus will be better choice. Nothing against Brewer but after I watched how much Kobe disrespected his shooting, comes to mind all champions had best shooting guards.

This is the most disappointed I've been about a draft in a long time. Kevin O'Connor seems to be in la la land about our need for a power forward and there is a possibility that we could be without one when the season starts.

Instead, he glowingly talks about a point gaurd that is going to work limited minutes behind Deron Williams. There were some tough power forwards still on the board when they selected Maynor. And what are we going to do when Boozer follows the money trail and leaves the Jazz?
