What the jazz should do

There isn't much talent in this draft but we should draft either a back up point in a Ty lawson or jeff teague (his best case scenario is a better shooting monta ellis) or a swingman in either terrence Williams or Sam young. Matt isn't getting any younger and ak might leave after this season.

Let's hope

That AK leaves. He's worthless. Most overpaid player in the NBA. Harpring is already over the hill.

Lawson would be a steal

at 20. Hansbrough, Gibson, and Johnson would be good picks at 20. They are average PFs in a normal year. I am not real high on Young. He is only 6'6". I do not care how tough he is supposed to be. Johnson and Hansbrough are also supposed to be tough. I care about how well he can play.

Terrence Williams may also be a good pick but I suspect that PF is a more important need this year.

I doubt if Knight will be back (to many fans do not like his lack of shooting. Price is supposed to be mad and won't come back. I am not sure any other team will pick him up so he might be back.

Price is good for a few minutes most nights but he is to erratic to run the team for long stretches. If he has a good shooting night he is an okay point. If he is off his shot he is a really bad PG.

The Jazz will pick up a vet PG and maybe a rookie for 3rd string.

Just Forget The Draft

Package some of these tissue type players we have, along with their ego's and get some veteran toughness and desire!

wild card

I heard a rumor that the jazz asked washington if they were willing to talk about giving up their pick. this wont happen but it might be good for the jazz, i dont think they have the guts to pull it off. Trade Boozer, CJ Miles and your pick at 20 and possibly your first round next year to washington for Antwan Jamison and the fith pick if and only if you can draft James Harden and possibly a second round pick. I know it will never happen but that would make the jazz a lot deeper and tougher.

Boozer Bandwagon

I just got some news on ESPN about Minnesota taking Washington's pick - Jamison and the 5th pick wouldn't have been worth it in this week draft. James Harden seems like he'd fit right in being an unselfish player and people overlooking his skills. He's very productive. We'll get a great player at 20; someone will slip like a power forward. If not we'll get a decent point guard to backup Darin - maybe Teague.
