I hope I can walk, or even open my eyes when I'm 95. Kudos, gramps, and I'm glad he was found well.

We are thankful that they found him well.

I think that Mr. Jarvis's story has inspired a lot of folks to turn off the T.V. and hit the trails. What a stud!

this story needs correction

he "hunkered down for the night" after tumbling 30-50 feet

after all, one does not "hunker down for the night" for 26 hours without food or water

he broke his arm and 2 vertebrae in his neck, and is hospitalized in Salt Lake

fhe will be hospitalized for a long time, but he should fully recover

The article in the Daily Herald has it more accurately, it was my wife who saw him while we were waiting at a red light in our car and looking across the intersection. We weren't volunteers on the search, but we are so thankful to have been in the right place at the right time! Our best to George and his family as he recovers in the hospital!
