Creighton Horton was a wonderful asset to our legal system and he'll be missed. I hope he has a blast in his retirement, though!

Mr. Horton has done more to promote justice than any other person in this state in the last thirty years. He will be missed. It is unfortunate that many efforts by prosecutors to seek justice have been thwarted lately by the legislature's failure to provide adequate funding for the criminal justice system. The efforts of Mr. Horton and others like him will be in vain if the criminals they work hard to send to prison are immediately released because the legislature has failed to provide funding for adequate prison space. Hopefully, the negligence of the legislature will not drive more prosecutors from the profession.

put him on the bench to preside over the Mithell's case to slap him (Mitchell) with being competent and not waste court time anymore...

He was the real deal. The standard by which all prosecutors should be judged.

The general public has no idea how he has improved their lives by what he has done. The epitome of an unsung hero. Thank you Mr. Horton

What a loss to see him retire. An absolutely wonderful human being and attorney.
