Comments about ‘Trolley Square slaps Whole Foods with $50 million breach of contract suit’

This is what happens when health food goes corporate. Local co-ops are a thing of the past, and instead we are left with bean counters trying to please financial analysts. It seems odd that Whole Foods would not just move one block and try to attract a broader demographic at Trolley Square.

I used to love shopping at the Wild Oats in Jordan Landing. Then they consolidated saying the one on 2000 East and 7200 South was a "convenient" alternative. Then Whole Foods took over and all their local stores (Cottonwood, Downtown and Kimball Junction), as far as I could tell, went downhill.

A big, new store at Trolley Square was something to look forward to with hopes that the old Wild Oats shopping experience might reappear. Guess the consumers lose out on this one.

I don't blame them for not moving because business has been good for them right where they are. They do however, need a bigger store for more food goods. I enjoy their natural organic foods. Some of us out here care about what goes into our body's.

Trolley Square is poorly managed. I do not blame Whole Foods for not wanted to go into that mall. The mall manager is out of touch and tenants are leaving right and left.
