The MPAA has long been mis-classifying PGs, PG-13s, and Rs. I hear they even have a clause that explains when the "so-called R-rated swear word") is allowable in a PG-13 or even a PG film. Has something to do if it is a noun or an adjective, or something like that. Yeesh.

I remember watching the masterful "All the President's Men" with Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman, and Jason Robards. Robards' character uttered the "R-rated" word several times, and this movie was rated PG.

Not only that, but the MPAA's "definitions" for acceptable sexuality and nudity are constantly being changed. It's just so inconsistent!

It's sad

We took a couple of the grandkids to see the second Night at the Museum, only to have to walk out after being treated to an absolutely gratuitous F-bomb.

What are moviemakers thinking?

The Authority

I don't blame you for leaving Night at the Museum 2, because it was a terrible movie.
However, I'm calling B.S. on your reasoning. There wasn't an F-bomb uttered in that movie. What in the heck are you talking about!?

Annie Wilkes

I am disgusted by Hollywood all those dirty words! They are a bunch of dirty birdies. I don't go to movies anymore I spend a lot of time in my cabin in sidewinder reading books. Hollywood should make some wholesome movies by Paul Sheldon then I wouldn't mind spending my hard earned money again. Wake up hollywood and the Mpaa! Great article.
