Does this mean we can finally count on the news media looking into GOED? Rumors abound that it is has more skeletons than the SLOC bid committee.
The rumor I heard is the Joe Dema is going to be chief of staff.
Rumor has it that Tilton will be Lt. Gov.
Is that the people passing rumors don't know a thing about what's actually going to happen.
Moving the Governor's office to Utah county?
In the winter, the office will be in St.George.
Mark Walker will be chief of staff.
...about government. Why do we need a transition team? Herbert's number one duty is to step in when the governor "checks out." So, why do we need anyone to help him take over?
Is politics that complex?
Or do we need someone special when a RINO leaves office? It's as bad as taking over for a Deomcrat!
Seriously, this proves to me that government is so full of itself that politicians have become meaningless.
to "it speaks volumes" :
Huntsman and Herbert are two very different men, so it clearly makes sense that as a transiton of the governorship takes place so does the staffing.
Is is hard to imagine that Governor Herbert will want a staff that is loyal to him, rather than keep Huntsman staff who despised him?
For instance, Huntsman's Chief of Staff, General Counsel and Spokesperson have GOT to leave if Herbert is to acknowledge his own governance. Next in the line of firing will be Huntsman's energy and education advisors. It's just natural that Herbert won't want to keep around people who despised him or his policies towards school choice or energy independence.
