When all developments are completed and when the population reached its maximum level, a property tax will be imposed. lol.
This is a huge mistake. West Haven is no where big enough to support this theater. It will soon by another vacant building that will only add to the blight of the area.
Yeah, right. How many identical projects will I have to drive past, to get to The "Destination"?
Being so far west, it's not going to draw from all four directions....and being off the freeway, it's not going to be seen by a majority of the customers.
You don't believe me? Who do you think supports all those restaurants and motels in Layton? Tourists and convention center users! They've already got what they need, in one central location.
If you're not from Weber County, just call it "West Roy" and you get the picture.
If it's a huge mistake, why are are these retailers interested? It takes nothing to sit back and criticize.
By the Way we are not just West Roy, and at least its better than another Wal-Mart which is what they were going to put in. I think Its great. That Corner has been sitting vacant for too long.
We are super excited about this project. I don't think this is a big mistake. It's about time we had something in this neck of the woods instead of going out to Ogden or Layton and spending on money on their economy. This way we can profit ourselves. I think it will be big. I too would much rather see this than see another Wal Mart.
