Just played the Homestead last week and it really is in the best shape I've ever seen it. At the current rates it's one of the better deals in the state too, especially considering how much it's been to play there in the past. It's certainly worth making a trip up to the Heber Valley and maybe even play 36 holes hitting both the Homestead and Wasatch Mountain.

It was such a nice experience to be at the Homestead playing golf. I had been there few times and I still keep going.I had been improved so much to play.totally the prices in this summer are much cheaper than the last summer- Also, the best salmon ever need to try it at Fanny's Grill Restaurant which is at the homestead too.
Great course | 12:47 p.m. June 16, 2009
Lucky high school 3A golfers were able to move from Wasatch Mt to The Homestead when it opened, I can only assume the mature course is so much better than what we played.

Steve, didn't Wasatch Mt add a fourth nine? That makes 36 holes alone at Wasatch Mt. Go to Midway and play 72 holes (including Soldier Hollow). What a great golf destination!

Affordable? | 3:26 p.m. June 16, 2009
The title should be "Affordable to everyone making more than $80,000 a year". $40 may sound cheap to golfers, but it is still not a middle class sport. That is a lot of money to the rest of us.
Thanks for the heads up | 9:42 p.m. June 16, 2009
that might make me want to golf there in this economy...

Great golf course, but all the golfers that play the Homestead course either walk by or ride by one of the most outstanding activities on the face of the earth-The Homestead Crater. Yes, that is right the large mineral dome is home to one of the most visited attractions in the Heber Valley. Swimming, scuba diving, or just sitting and -enjoying the 90 degree water 365 days out of the year. Next time you are at the Homestead be certain to drop in for a look or a dip at the Homestead Crater. It is cheaper than the golf, a lot less pressure, and much more refreshing activity.
