Tolman is an honest stand up guy. I dont know of anyone who thinks otherwise.

Shurtleff is a just another politician (ie says what other want to hear and not always honest) who is for amnesty for illegals in spite of the law and his position to uphold it.
I'd like to see Bennet step down but no matter who ends up running I know for sure that I WON'T be voting for Shurtleff.

The Weber County Sheriffs Office has enjoyed great working relationships with Attorney Tolman and the various federal counterparts that work through Mr. Tolmans office.

Likewise, we have interactions with the Utah Attorney Generals Office. For the most part, we have enjoyed good relationships with that office as well. When a rough spot occurs, it seems that it is always a communication gap.

How can anyone rely on the word of an ambitious politician. Shurtleff has used the law to further his money making scams. Paul Murphy is the front man and runs interference for his boss, not unlike Karl Rove.

Tolman is an ambitious, grandstanding, publicity seeking politician. Not yet running for office, but you can be sure he will be some day.

Note that most of his big busts are small time cases against easy targets. These are usually exaggerated in importance so he can grab some TV time. He seems to have little interest in going after real hard core criminals.

Yeah, he busted up the dangerous pot hunting folks down in the four corners area for "stealing" arrowheads off public land. But illegal alien drug dealers roam our streets.

Utah state authorities report hundreds of cases of felons and other prohibited person attempting to illegally buy guns but he never bothers to prosecute them.

Some crime fighter.
I was glad to vote for Shurtleff for AG twice, and look forward to voting for him to represent me in the U.S. Senate.

The more usurious the politician, the higher he will rise.
