Ideally speaking: Von Brunn trapped in his denial

Amazed at their unbelief | 10:26 a.m. June 13, 2009

There are verses in the New Testament that say Jesus was stunned by a person or group's unbelief; and now for the first time I see this--- I work with someone who likes Hitler; he is 47, from the east coast, 2nd grade education, hates Jews not because of their doctrine, but because when growing up on the east coast, "money was everything to them" he says when they go into a car dealership, it wasn't to buy a car, but to buy the dealership; this man is a faithful Protestant and yet I had to inform him that Jesus was a Jew and this he had never heard before and couldn't except. He said, "Show me in New Testament" that he was a Jew. I showed him verse, "I came unto me own". Granted, Jesus didn't fit into corrupt culture of Pharisees, but they all were His relatives which made His death more tragic.
There are, it seems, many Christians out there that put Christ on such a pedastal that they have no clue about His parents, HIs pedigree, ancestry, culture and race. Amazing what reading will do.
