Nice article. Good break from the standard fare sports articles. Plus history is always fun to learn about.
It's good to read articles about "tradition." It would be nice to see the bell return to the Utes trophy case, even if the rivalry is dead. This is a missing piece of the puzzle in Ute history that should not be forgotten. We always hear about "storied" programs of the Big 10 and SEC. Well in 50 or 100 years from now this piece of OUR story could go from forgotten to lost. Let's take some pride in who we were and what we've become. Every step along the way has contributed to making the program what it is today and it should be displayed where present Ute fans and their future generations can enjoy it.
