I hope DN checked if there were REALLY drugs and alcohol involved before they printed that statement. It is very hurtful to families when this is said and completely untrue.

Agreed. Kristan was a fantastic young LDS girl, and was attending BYU-Idaho before her death. The Salt Lake Tribune printed the almost the same story except that "alcohol and drugs may have been involved." Report the facts, please. NOT vague and unconfirmed rumors.

Im sure drugs or alcohol WERE involved or else they wouldnt print it. They have testing in hospitals. Just because she is LDS and goes to BYU-Idaho doesn't mean she didn't drink or do drugs. Kristan was a great person but she made some mistakes like all of us. We should learn from this and not try to hide the truth becuase it's a shame in the mormom culture. RIP Kristan
