I'm still voting you pursue a acting career or degree, you are a natural on stage and you are the best Javert I have seen. best of luck at college and with your football aspirations.
Well done | 8:56 a.m. June 8, 2009
Great story about a fine young man. And good for him to sign with Southern Utah and to play for Coach Lamb. That program is up and coming the the batch of recruits (including Austin and player of the year, Ammon Olsen out of Alta) Coach Lamb and his staff have landed, speaks to the direction SUU football is heading. Can't wait to see Austin on the field in T Bird black and red when he gets home from his mission.

ditto on wishing you'd be spending more time on stage in the future but oh well we'll have to become thunderbird fans for sure. congrats on all you've accomplished austin and especially for your integrity and being such a well rounded person.
Congrats from Logan | 3:42 p.m. June 8, 2009
We really didn't get to know you and your parents until this last year. We have come to realize you are a great competitor and athlete but most of all a fine young man. I am always impressed with young men that maintain their 'mission first' priorities. It would have been fun to see you play with our son as teammates instead of opposite sides of the ball at the next level.

I just met Austin this weekend at SUU and Google’d him, and found this article. All I can say is he is even more impressive in person! He said he has gray shirted and will play after his mission. So we all have to wait until the 2012 season. Great article about a cool guy!
