I loved the photos with this great article. It was great that the photographer took the time to get the names of those in each picture and write up a cutline.
I wish I had known about the Trail Day before hand. There are lots of groups who would have been glad to come and help with a service project like this. Next year I'll start looking into it the middle of May.
We live in one of the most beautiful and diverse states in the union. My hat is off to those who will organize clean ups like this. They are great and accomplish much. Individually we can take a trash bag whenever we go out into nature and pickup what careless others have left. Its sort of a this is how I am paying my dues to the great outdoors. Children readily will join in also if they are taught to respect and revere nature. Plus 10.
Congratulations to the people who do something postive for our out of doors environment. I hope we will see alot more of this. It makes the individual feel good and makes our environment look good also.
