Each and everyone of these heroes from WWII are owed so much by so many. They answered the call when their country needed them and they rid the world of at least 3 evils. Pure evil does exist and it existed in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. There are no honors great enough to begin to acknowledge the debt we owe these incredible individuals.
God Bless them and all who serve or who have served in our Armed Forces.
What a great tribute to some of the great heroes of our nation. Thanks much for highlighting them here!
What a great article! I think we should find the remaining veterans and honor them as well. How may I meet these guys? I would love to hear their stories and have them sign a poster of D-Day Normandy Omaha Beach which I have. It would not only make the poster awesome with their autographs, but it would be the utmost thrill of a life time for me personally!!! I would be estatic. Can anyone help me? How would I make this dream possible?
