Can anyone explain Russell's first yellow? He wasn't involved in the foul, and the MLS website is calling it "dissent." But, when has Russell ever said anything to anyone? Did the ref get his bald guys mixed up? Mathis committed the foul and is the consistent mouthy one, poor form.

Every time we go defensive, dissappointment is the outcome.

18-9 shots on goal? Does kicking the ball into the top row of seats in the stadium count as a shot on goal? Get real. As long as RSL plays "Not to Lose" instead of playing to "Win" Nothing is going to change.

I agree with OhYea completely. Poor gameplanning. I said it last week, and I'll say it this week. This team is not good enough. This team needs changes. Their record "speaks for itself".

I acutally think that the team played better without Beckerman and Morales, I hope that maybe Kreis will sit them out another game to see what happens.

As a supporter of RSL and one of the 1st to sign up for season tickets, I am growing weary of the style of play not only of RSL but of the MLS in general. My center first row seats will be up for grabs at the end of this season. Jason Kreiss was "pleased" with this performance? This only makes me more depressed. Did a single free kick from within striking distance make it within 15 feet of striking the posts or crossbar- much less the goalie? How many of Mathis's corner kicks found a RSL player? 3 wide open headers in front of the goal- two by Findley and one by Olave weren't on target although Espindola at least came close with his. Colorado was even worse with at least 5 of Pickens' kicks going full-field to Rimando or crossing the RSL endline. We may not be able to find the net or have the ability to excite the fans with Arsenal-like pinpoint combination passing in the final third, but we are perfecting the back pass and side to side ball movement in the back. Unfortunately, this can't hold our interest much longer.

People have asked as a Galaxy fan but only slight interest in any other MLS team, why I would post? Because I love the state of Utah and want to see all the teams do well. This includes Real. I do not watch many games admittedly, but I am very very bothered by last night. Very.

I am bothered by Checketts coming out supporting this current group and Kreis. This has "Jazz Complacency stamped all over it" Then again what else what you would expect from Jazz guy and someone who was in charge when the Knickies went down hillarooni.

In watching hundreds of matches yearly, I have rarely seen so much posession domination so worthless. These announcers rave about Mathis. He always thinks so high of himself. Yet his corners and free kicks all not his fault what did it lead to?

Next: What happened to a strong ground oriented mid field Dutch type buildup. AT times sure they tried it but early on long ball jookes again. Colorado did likewise. Findlay and Yuri blow chances then Yuri finally scores then a lapse and the one Rapid who can hurt them did. Need trades and new coach.

Guess what? The Galaxy played overall theyr'e best game of the season yesterday. Defensively, organized, hard to break down. Buddle scores clutch goals. Finally Arena team you can see making progress and getting better each week. Yes many ties negative. One loss fewest in league, 4th in fewest goals scored. Very talented team. You guys are in huge HUGE trouble at Home depot next week.

I say Galaxy will win 2-0 or 3-1.

Why was mathis taking those free kicks? Sure it was nice getting to touch the ball up in the 25th row 3 times in a half... Honestly i dont care what you people say mathis is terrible. Evidence by poor corners and even worse set pieces..

After 5 years of, we worked hard, i am pleased with our effort, we were just unluck the ball didn't go in, the refs didn't like us, blaa blaa blaa. As fans we are fed up. Come out and be honest. The team is a mess and the fans deserve better!!!!!

Cut off the juice boxes and orange slices and you might get a better effort. When the kids know they are going to be rewarded regardless of the outcome they fail to achieve. Go Real!!!

Ahhh! Get rid of Mathis, his glory days are long behind him. Get rid of Rimando and put in Seitz. Rimando is so short he couldn't stop the Rapids' goal. The ball went right over his head and off the cross bar!?! Why does Kreis insist on using Rimando when Seitz is a much better keeper and more intimidating on the field?!? While we're at it, we need to get rid of Kreis, too.

It's time to shake things up. Where we're sitting in the standings there's only one way to go if we do.

re: able~~ I think any one can understand tie and loss.. Thats the point they cant win,this team is not fun to watch. Actually gets getting fun to see how they will lose or give up the lead in a different way than before.

I am almost hoping for a loss so things will get so bad they will HAVE to do something.

I hope the MLS can succeed, someday I'd like to see quality soccer. There is not a single team in MLS than could compete with The English Champions League- let alone the Premier League.

Sure we have 5-6 American players who can hang in top level soccer teams and one who dominates (Howard), but American soccer has a LONG WAY TO GO.

RLS is missing key players- for one someone who can finish. They need to shore-up an attacking midfield player, and they need to move Romando to the bench. That goal yesterday- while a ripping shot, would have been stopped by 80% of other goalies.

Get rid of Kreis!!!! Spend Money on a quality striker with proven results..... dump Checketts while you're at it. Problem solved.

The writing is starting to show on the wall!! The management of this team is an absolute joke!! Best way to keep the ball away from our goal is to be attacking theirs. What does Kreis do? Take out an attacking player for a defender, then try to win the game by clearing the ball to colorado over and over again, allowing them to continue attacking our goal. Brilliant!!!
