Really? | 10:29 a.m. June 9, 2009
Are you really suggesting the Adams donate the land or are you just being funny?
Oh man | 8:27 a.m. June 11, 2009
Who is this lad that keeps referring back to the 3 geo companies that tested the land. Whoever you are you are not allowed to comment on this story any more. This is a mature situation and it appears that you are a little too young to voice any kind of opinion. The facts are that homes have already slid off the hill and other homes are currently sliding right now. I think it's ok to say that it is unsafe.
Question | 10:30 a.m. June 12, 2009
Why doesn't the Adams Family donate the Property instead of building on unsafe grounds. Everyone speaks so highly of them. For what all they have done for Layton City. Question what is it they have done? I am getting really sick and tired of people saying the property is safe to build on. Would you want your house on that property? Look at all the other houses residents have lost. Don't judge the residents who are against the developement unless you have walked in their shoes. We are all scared of what might happen to the surrounding area when they start building this Developement. No one will help us make our mortgage or anything if our house slides off. I do agree the Layton City Council had already decided on the vote before the meeting. The Adams Property/Hawkins Developement Shame on you wanting to build on unsafe ground. And shame on the Layton City Council members who approved the rezone. You both will make lots of money. So you really don't care about what happens after you sell it and have Hawkins build on.
