Tongue in cheek article. The sad thing is the car industry ran themselves into the ground with lousy products, terrible customer service, crooked repair jobs and overpriced products. That the Fed had to come along and take over seems like a logical conclusion. Where else can you expect that kind of disorganized chaos than the gubernmint. Thanks Lee for the insightful look into the auto industry!
The markets will eventually rule. Power to the people. GM was bankrupt and there is nothing the government can do to change that. If the people want "green" they will buy it. It will not be forced of dictated by an all poweful government, wait and see. The people will eventially call the shots like with our up side down GM problem. Failure fall by its own weight. When there is any blessing from God it is founded upon obedience to the law upon which it is precicated. That is sound doctrine and it applies to the marketplace too.
For clarifying that it was tongue-in-cheek. The one-liners kept me wondering.
A tongue in cheek article about the new Government Motors and no reference to Barney Frank being in charge of designing tail pipes or volunteering to test rear-end collisions? How can that be?
People, think! This is nothing more than yet another a power grap by the Obama government! They want to control what kind of cars you can buy (for your own supposed good). When will we learn that when we elect liberals, they will seek to control you and force you to obey them! It's called dictatorships in most dictionaries! We are volunteering to be subjects to them when we elect them! Give them 4 more years and you won't even recognize freedom in this country or the constitution!
