I appreciate reading and remembering my spiritual change and growth. Having had a brief marriage (which should have never happened) that ended in divorce, I was in such a darkness. When a person is in this darkness, they don't know it, only the people that love us can see what is happening. I finally let my spirit heal and the light came back into my life, it was then that I could see how I had been. We usually go into that darkness slowly and gradually, it is like dimming a light, our eyes adjust. We don't just jump into darkness both feet, that is like turning off the light, can't see a thing. Getting the light back in our lives can be instantly, that doesn't mean we have totally resolved everything, but even with loss of membership, we can enjoy the Spirit in our lives. When we have that light turn on right away, or if it comes gradually, we will always be able to compare the dark to the light. People, the darkness is no fun, I have been in it and I love the light so much more.
