Shurtleff is a crook | 8:50 a.m. June 5, 2009
I can't believe that Utahns are actually considering voting for Shurtleff. He is corrupt to the core and I for one will NEVER vote for him.
I don't think you know him | 10:06 a.m. June 5, 2009
Mark Shurtleff is compassionate, independent, smart and - most importantly - a good man. He has one of the best hearts of anyone in public service in Utah today. I'm going to vote for him. And if he runs for anything in the future I'll probably vote for him then too.
Governor Herbert | 11:29 a.m. June 5, 2009
Some people seem to think it's all a game. For some this seems to be true, but I am not so cynical as to think that some good, wise and honest persons may be found to assist Mr Herbert. They need not be of the well-known but should be such as despise political manoueverings, government tyranny, and desire liberty and the well-being of all honest people.

Regarding Shurtleff, often we hear people say something like this,"Personally he is a great guy, but..." Or "Outside of the office I really like him, but ..."

Too many buts about Shurtleff.
Shurtleff shouldn't have run | 10:55 p.m. June 5, 2009
Shurtleff should have done the honest thing and not run for a 4 year term as Attorney General only to announce his plans for challenging Bennett days after the election. Now the taxpayers can pay Shurtleff's salary for 2 years while he campaigns!
Do you really want him for Senator?
Shurtleff is the real deal. | 11:06 p.m. June 5, 2009
Seems to me that the buzz around Mark Shurtleff only goes to show that he is indeed a contender. Cheap shots, lame and thinly veiled innuendos of wrong doing and the like won't be enough to keep him from running a pertinent and thoughtful campaign to become a United States senator. Utahns will see this for what it is - desperate political mudslinging.
UTAH Bill | 8:38 a.m. June 6, 2009
Once Shurtleff is out of the AG Office the staff will be willing to talk about the way he treated people. Particularly disturbing is the way he's decided whether or not to prosecute cases based upon politics rather than the merits of the case.
