Chicago, really ? | 5:39 p.m. June 4, 2009
The last place that I would want to spend a summer is Chicago. How many murders happen every summer due to a gang war of some sort ? Not to mention the political corruption of America's worst governed and dirtiest state. Having lived in Chicago for the first twenty two years of my life, and having spent five of my last seven years abroad in Asia and South America; the last place I want my friends from those places to visit is Chicago. We can't find a better summer olympics destination ? What about... Well anywhere else actually ?

Every time I've visited Chicago and brought friends, they ALL mention not only how beautiful it is but also how clean it is. These are international friends from all across the globe too. Yay Chicago! | 10:38 p.m. June 6, 2009
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and I love that town! There are parts of the city I didn't spend much time in, but by and large it is a great place that would represent our country very well. It's a city with character, with history, with truly outstanding architecture, with very down-to-earth and friendly people... seriously, I think it would be a great Olympic venue.
