Bad guy with a heart? | 12:49 p.m. June 4, 2009
After all the hate from fans and the media, it turns out that Boozer is really just a nice guy with good intentions. I take back all the mean things I said about him before. It's not entirely his fault that he's injury-prone and not a very good defender.

It's not his fault that he likes money more than Cleveland either. Who wouldn't? Many people don't know (or forget) that his coach in Cleveland at the time told him he wasn't good enough to be an All-Star. But he keeps proving people wrong and went from a being a 2nd round pick to averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds. Boozer deserves more love and respect.

I hope the Loozer stays there and doesn't come back. You're not welcome in Utah.

Bad guy- There is no one who is 100% evil. Of course bad people will still sometimes do good things. The guy needs to pony up and leave utah.

Don't come back!
I Agree | 2:12 p.m. June 4, 2009
Let's hope he doesn't come back.

Take a vacation...or get a job! There's only a handfull of you knuckleheads that repeatedly write in with you're slanderous comments about Jazz Ballplayers. There's thousands of us in the stands that are thankfull for Boozer and what he brings to this team.

Leave him there.

Maybe it will humble him and he'll take a paycut. Does he really need 15 million per year. I mean isn't 9 million enough. We would be a championship contender if Boozer, memo and AK would take a paycut so we could get shooting guard or a defensive presence on the roster.

He has always been a good guy. He doesn't get injured on purpose. He works hard on his game in the off season, always comes back in great shape, and with an improved game--if all the highly paid Jazz players worked as hard in the off season, we'd have a much better team. I want to see him back and healthy, because without him, we won't make the playoffs in a tough Western conference. I really don't understand the hate, it seems irrational.

There are thousands of you thankful for boozer? really? Even miller mentioned his concerns over boozers defense. That says a lot. Maybe there were thousands at the beginning of the season, or before the injury, but ill tell you what my friend, there are more than a handful of us that would be glad to see him go. Probably a lot more than you know. Get used to it. Majority of fans are getting on the "get out of town boozer" bandwagon, and for a good reason. I have a job, and have recently been on vacation. Believe me, it hasn't effected my ability to use common sense and see an overpaid matador when I see one. Stay in Africa Tin Man!

Maybe he will get a raise there.

All the Boozer haters need to look more closely at the stats. The Jazz are better with him. Millsap did pretty good filling in for him after he got injured but for only half the time. Millsap was really close to a 20/10 guy for for like 15 or 20 games then he dropped to a 8/10 guy and couldn't score on offense. Boozer is so good on offense that many teams double team him in the paint. Millsap is not a post up guy and doesn't get double teamed at all. When Boozer started playing well after Korvhis injury er starting shooting better. He got better looks because his man would double Boozer. He does a lot fo the team and has even played a lot better defense than before. I think the Jazz should dump AK and Memo and go after Bosh. He would give them a better inside defense and then they wouldn't have to double team underneath so much and leave 3 point shooters open. I would take Boozer over Memo any day. Boozer is an Allstar and Memo is sometimes an Allstar.
Allstar Boozer | 10:50 a.m. June 5, 2009
Boozer posts all-star numbers in the Sloan system. The system favors a PF. That's partly why Millsap, another undersized second rounder, could post great numbers too. Boozer would be really good but probably not a 20/10 guy in another system.

I got $20 says he steps on a rock over there, rolls his ankle, and is injured for 9 months.
who cares | 11:07 a.m. June 5, 2009
I bet the trip was free!
Re: Allstar Boozer | 11:25 a.m. June 5, 2009
Garbage! Boozer was a 15/11 guy his last year in Cleveland and Silas never ran a play for him. He's a 20/10 player regardless of where he is.
Please | 11:45 a.m. June 5, 2009
Stay there Boozer
to Allstar Boozer | 11:53 a.m. June 5, 2009
Boozer was voted to the allstar game once while in cleveland. It isn't just the system. He is an allstar and not many PFs in the league give you what he does.

I'm with be quiet! Get rid of Memo, not Boozer. Sign and trade Memo to the Magic for Hedo and Gortat. I like Memo as a person and believe that's why he gets a pass from the fans, because he's likable in the media. Wake up people, If we had a defensive center, the Jazz would be better with Boozer at PF, not Memo!
Boozlander | 2:13 p.m. June 5, 2009
Only cares about his own stats, thats why he has good stats. The longest winning streak the Jazz had all year was when Boozlander was sporting his famous suit on the sidelines look. He's a worthless, selfish, soft, injure prone, loozer!
starting lineup | 4:48 p.m. June 5, 2009
I would love to see the starters as:
C--Bosh
PF-- Boozer
SF--Brewer
SG--An Athletic guy they trade for
PG-- Williams
Bob2 | 5:57 p.m. June 5, 2009
Wow--a lot of really hateful people who obviously take the game of basketball way too seriously. I've been watching Jazz basketball since the days of John Duran and Danny Shayes and I've never seen such pure hatred for a guy who's major crime is being injury prone and not being the greatest defender in the world. I'm glad nobody's writing about my faults. They could find a lot worse than that.
Yanken | 8:14 p.m. June 5, 2009
Good defensive team are taught and demanded by their coaches how to play great team defense. I hope the jazz coaches are watching the playoffs and being open to learning and then teaching team defense.
todd to yanken | 2:07 a.m. June 6, 2009
sure......they are not watching and would not even notice if they did.
Re:Bob2 | 6:53 a.m. June 6, 2009
I agree with everything you said. No wonder he wants out of Utah. Terrible fans.
Bill | 7:42 a.m. June 6, 2009
Maybe he'll get to play a little...

Unlike the Olympics!
