Well put. Sometimes when I read the comments, I wonder if there is any Christian charity left in this world. You have restored my faith. I felt exactly the same way when I heard of these famous people's trials. We are all people and hopefully we can learn to get along.

The media demonizes people to the point where we see them as only villains and hard core criminals when they are still children of Heavenly Father. It is best most the time that I don't even watch TV or the news because it is so full of trash and damaging to the soul. We should love everyone including the people in the media who are so full of evil.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those celebrities have overcome some incredible obstacles early in life -as is the case with Drew Barrymore. I think that some of the famous people we are so hard on because of their choices, may be ones that Christ commends on making their life better than their parents' etc. I think we should be more concerned with the "holier than thou" attitude about other people. Sure we should judge righteous judgement, such as deciding that a Hollywood movie is full of ideas and scenes opposite of what the commandments teach. However, we need to be really careful in deciding that we are better than any person. We don't have the capacity to make that kind of judgement ever. And yet I catch myself doing it. As you stated-we have much more in common through life's struggles and challenges.

Thank you Mr. Rock. This one of the best things I have read in a while.
