I had the opportunity to work/coach Fez last summer and I must say he is truly a spectacular player. Great and humble young man. I wish him luck and look forward to seeing him on the professional pitch.
I've had the opportunity to see this young man play last year. He has an incredible feel for the game. I think he'll go places. Congratulations, Fez!
other than hiking his shorts up too high, Fez is a great player
He will get knocked off the ball too easily as he plays against some bigger opponents.
...I thought you are supposed to take those out when you play soccer...
if you've ever tried to knock him off the ball you wouldn't be saying that. Atta kid Fez!! From Chi-town
Congrats! You deserve it guy!
You will be the next Pele!! your number fits well!
What a great honor, this kid worked hard and deserves everything he gets. You people that want to say something negative, do you realize we live in a world where working hard living a clean life and reaching your goals are a rarity. I have never seen Josh play but from what I have heard he is an awesome player and an awesome person. If you have something negative to say keep it to yourself and instead celebrate this great honor with a very deserving phenominal athlete.
Isnt that precious.
I suppose he could do a more modern earring and gage his ear... but you see with his "90's" earring, when he no longer wants to wear an earring he won't have earlobes with a large hole in it and they won't hang inches down his neck, all he will have is a small scar. Nice choice Fez and good luck!
yeah...I'm sure the young man is awesome...but all I saw was the earring. Is it in his right or left ear...oh, that doesn't matter anymore...I think my hair and I are stuck in the 80's!!
You might have noticed the article mentioned low center of gravity, many a bigger player has tried to knock Fez off the ball and ended up chewing turf. Fez is a great talent and great person. Congrats.
Congratulations!!!! I know you deserve it and I know too that you can do anything you want, go for it!!!!!!!!!
lets have RSL sign him up.
I've seen him play against college level players, and they thought they could knock him off the ball as well. I can assure you, he will hold his own at the next level.
If you don't want anything negitive said about you get out of the game. Real, Jazz, high scool makes no differance attention comes in both shades.
There are a lot of fine players in this state. Sadly most of them don't go to HUGE high schools and don't get the exposure that this guy does. So of course, they won't get the chance to progress...
I know and have seen Fez play and know for a fact that he works harder than anyone I've ever seen for anything. He deserves this award in every way imaginable. He holds more than his own and knows it's a team sport. Good job Fez!
If you think someone gets a college scholarship because they play high school soccer at a big school then you are sorely mistaken. College scholarships are given mainly based on club soccer. Most college coaches don't even attend high school games. Another example of an uninformed hater.
