Good on everyone involved!

Journalists often report inaccurate stories about permits and permit holders, so this will help them understand the law and self defense options and get their stories straight. Also, if they decide to pursue a permit, they will be better prepared to defend themselves.

Good on the gun guys for providing this as a free service.

Wow! What are the journalists going to report now that they understand the permit and the permit process. How are they going to rile up the liberals with false and misleading information? Get over it liberals... guns are here to stay.

Cops in UT are taught to shoot 2 to the body and one to the head?? Really. Tough crowd over there I guess. Most cops (and joe citizens) shoot to stop the threat, whether thats one round, two, three or twenty three.

Bruce, You are correct. That is what was stated in the class. The only mention made of 2 to the chest and 1 to the head is that that concept or practice had no basis in reality.

Bruce, I should clarify. What you stated in the earlier post is correct. In that you will need to fire as many rounds as is necessary to stop the threat. It was stated this way in the class.

Further, we make no distinction between law enforcement and civilians, as Both are civilians.

There was a lot of information presented in the class and at times it can be hard to understand some of the minutia especially as it relates to key concepts. What may be a small misunderstanding of something, seemingly innocuous to them, is actually a very important concept that needs critical clarity.
As people involved in firearm self-Defense training we feel these misunderstandings are damaging to the public's perception of CCW holders and should be corrected but....once it is out in print...it is often too little, too late.

All in all I thought the reporter did a very good job with information presented over several hours of training.
