I never have heard Brigham City was known for it's tress. I do know Sacramento is called the "city of trees" because it has more tree than Paris. Our climate allows trees from all over the world to thrive here.
I recall, Brigham City was known for its peach trees. Once, Davis County was known for its cherries. Farther south it was celery.
I know most the cheery trees have been Washingtoned; cut down. I haven't seen Brigham City in years. There may not be peach one and the Tabernacle may have been demolished for a strip mall.
So.... who won?
A guy by the name of Dave Mercado from Diamond Trees won the competition and will represent Utah at the International Competition in Rhode Island the end of July. It was awesome to see.
