Regardless of whether or not you believe in the prophecies of the last days, we are living in them. There have been conspiracies since Cain slew Able. They have increased since the assassination Abraham Lincoln. For more than 100 years, there has been a push for a one-world government. I encourage a major history lesson and an honest indepth comparison study of the Communist and Humanist Manifestos, RADICAL Islam's 100 year agenda (including ties with Hitler), and our current global environment.
At least twice during the campaign, Obama said he will always stand with his Muslim brothers. And is he even a U.S. citizen? He refuses to release his actual birth certificate (not the one that says it has been seen by witnesses). If he is not, he is illegally occupying the WHITE HOUSE.
Glenn's delivery might be off, but his message is as or more correct than Rush and the others. Because he's LDS, he has a better understanding of what's happening. People need to ready for whenever the situation worsens.

Although I'm fully aware of who Glenn Beck is, I have never listened/watched his show. After reading some of the comments here today I am going to make some time to watch him. Family values? Common sense? Wow! Sounds like a winner to me.

Glenn has a J. Golden Kimball mouth, but I heard worse growing up on the farm. Glenn, Hannity and Rush only verbalize what I have believed long before they were born. Went to school when you were taught how to think not the indoctrination offered today. Even being raised in a D. Roosevelt household I always believed teaching someone "how to fish" is far better than 'giving them the fish". Roosevelt's progressivism is back and those looking for change, check out Russia, what's left of it.

Obama says he'll put these last 4 months up against those of any other president. I think he's right. No other president in history has screwed things up so quickly. Bush had no financial discipline, signing all kinds of pork into law. But Obama is making Bush look fairly sensible. Obama is punishing those who have worked hard while he rewards those who don't want to pay the price for success. Anyone who doesn't recognize the drastic changes that are taking place will someday regret that they didn't, especially if they actually think Obama is making the country a better place. Thankfully, we have a few voices of reason. Beck shines the spotlight on truly important topics, and he gives you the truth, which is hard to get from the other media sources. Most of the media are still covering for Obama...hiding his dirt...failing to ask any hard questions...doing everything to cheer on his socialist policies.

Alma 1:21 - Now there was a strict law among the people of the church, that there should not any man, belonging to the church, arise and persecute those that did not belong to the church, AND THAT THERE SHOULD BE NO PERSECUTION AMONG THEMSELVES.

Brothers and Sisters, please, Brother Beck (or Harry Reid or whomever else) may be a public figure, and you do not have to agree with him; but to say he is worthy of a "talking to" from his Bishop seems like a misunderstanding of the above scripture, in particular the emphasized part.

We are the Church of Jesus Christ and Christ taught us that all men and women, be they sinner or not, were welcome in His Church. Let us not persecute those of our own faith. There is too much persecution of our faith from those outside of it as it is. Let us love our brothers and sisters and neighbors as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and us.

Every active Latter-Day Saint (LDS/Mormon) I know agrees with Glen Beck. His ideas are generally in harmony with the LDS church I have always attended.

I'm baffled how Harry Reid can justify his membership in the LDS church. There's good reason why the LDS church is the most conservative of all Christian churches.

I agree that Harry Reid has forgotten his values and the Church. He seems to be in his own personal glory when he is following Pres Obama around. For those of you who think Mr. Beck is way off base, you need to find out what really is going on in America. Have you read June's Ensign? The message is to grow gardens, get out of debt and be prepared for what's coming down the pike! Get Ready.

I can't believe all the whining here. So what if you like him or not. He's just a guy like so many others. So he wants to make a good living at what he does and he does it well? What a terrible thing! Many more should have the exact same goals.

Agree with him or not, the fact is he is so popular because he is plain spoken, speaks his mind, and is not afraid to be passionate in a public way about his beliefs. So many Mormons, and people in general have no passion, only do and say what they think is popular and change with the PC winds with no real opinion or spine. I may not always agree with him, but I admire his ethics and convictions. To thine self be true!

Yes, Harry Reid has no doubt left the fold by advocating taking care of the poor, ending ill-conceived wars, regulation of a greedy and out-of control financial system, and offering criticism of the most corrupt and secretive administration since Mr. Burns in Springfield.

Glen Beck is a pretty standard Mormon in what he believes. He just speaks with more clarity and conviction than most of them when it comes to politics MORMONS ARE PREDOMINANTLY VERY CONSERVATIVE. Here is the ultimate test.... If you, generally, disagree with Glen Beck ... you have a disorder of some sort and need to set your life straight. The word liberal is always used positively in the scriptures, in both Bible and Book of Mormon. We can all agree there are all ranges of political persuasions in the church, probably even communists and socialists within the kingdom because in some countries we do "honor, sustain and obey law". My definition of liberal is found in D&C 6:7 to seek wisdom and knowledge ahead of riches. Maybe that specific counsel was just to the Prophet at that one time, yet look at Old Testament and we read people perished without vision and knowledge. Man doesn't live by bread alone, but by the words that come from mouth of God. I would like to see a push by rich white people to enlist their kids in military and for people to start their own business, but reality is many good people in Utah and in USA have for 5 decades now and will continued to be employed by the state and government and there is nothing wrong with that. Look at former Gov. Leavitt (ut) who left the private sector to work in government and yet he hates big government.

Well, as an LDS member, I also remember the rantings and ravings of Brigham Young. Nobody is perfect and before many of you self-righteous folk rip on Glen Beck, Harry Reid, Mitt Romney, Gov. Obama has run a business??? He's been a lawyer for ACORN, taught law, been a state rep. for Illinois and a "community organizer". He's sure good at spend money he does not have but have no fear - he can print more. The inmates are running the asylum right now.
Glenn Beck is a voice of reason. Too many people do not want to do their home work and don't want to hear what he has to say.

When I heard the cd of Glenn's conversion story, I was so struck by his intellectual sincerity and his emotional honesty that I listened to it over and over again. Not many people in this world are that conscientious or candid about their search for truth. I'm proud to know he's LDS! After watching his show for several months now, I am convinced he is exactly what we need: a well-read, insightful analyst and a courageous, tireless champion of what used to be common sense. He does the homework that the rest of us are too lazy to do ourselves. He is deeply patriotic, and I think his only motivation is to alert us to the cost of our complacency, and inspire us to actively fight to keep our constitution intact. While he's clearly not a political prophet, he definitely broadcasts the warning call that we had better heed before it's too late. I was surprised when I learned that Beck was a Mormon. I thought perhaps he hadn't been a member long enough to know what the Church teaches about love, tolerance, etc. Now that he's switched to Fox, his true nature becomes even more apparent. I joined the Church nearly sixty years ago. If I had been listening to Glenn Beck at that time, it never would have happened. His philosophy doesn't reflect the love of Christ that pervades the Book of Mormon. We know he makes a lot of money, but that isn't what it's all about! It's time for him to eat a little humble pie!

Glenn Beck is a polarizing figure. Both inside and outside the LDS faith--some agree some don't.

I guess this dispels the notion that all Mormons are alike.

I like Beck most of the time, but he sometimes gets too silly, and says some pretty weird stuff. Sometimes his broadcast seems like it is geared toward ADHD audiences.

But I generally love what the guy has to say, and I think he is pretty accurate when it come to sensing the dangers of the Progressive ideology.

I can tell you why people wonder why he is a member of the LDS Church - he does not espouse thoughts that are consistent with Mormon beliefs, in my opinion. I am a conservative (liberal leaning) LDS member, and I never watch him!

He is one of the few people in the country right now who realizes what a disastrous path this nation is on with Obama and his band of thugs he calls a cabinet. Glen is a true patriot and genuine LDS man unlike Harry Reid who is a disgrace to the Church and the U.S. Someday the massed of idiots who voted for Obama are going to see him for what he is, Glen and a few others see it plainly now. Glenn is awesome. I prefer to listen to Rush but Glenn is doing great work too. I am a life long Mormon and I know that just like in any other faith some Mormon's live their religion more so than others. Glenn is a convert of almost 10 years(baptized Oct 2009)because he is awesome he will continue to grow in the gospel and will realize more and more that some of the things he discusses on his radio show he shouldn't, but cut the man some slack and I say he is doing great things for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I just wish I was in his ward and his home teaching companion.

Admittedly, I live in Australia, so you may think I should "butt out" and mind my own business, but I love my Church and feel embarrassed that this man may be seen as representing Mormon values by the wider public. I wish he would remember that the Church is essentially about love, helping the less fortunate, and self-sacrifice for the benefit of others.

Some of the comments on here make me realise why Mormons and America as a nation are not very popular in general. The fostering of greed I believe,lies behing the recession--not compassion and generosity.

I'm sure Beck is a good man and believes what he says, but I'm certainly glad he doesn't live in my ward and is not my Gospel Doctrine Teacher!!

Glenn is unusually right on. I also like Rush, Sean, and Mark Levin, but Glenn puts a real moral feel, less polictical party and more personal sovernty feel to it in my perspective.

Glenn is great because he shoots from the gut and takes on things that others fear. Is he perfect, of course not and neither are his critics. His love of the Founding Fathers, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights is honorable and critical in this time when some would like to jackhammer the foundations of this great country. He is waking up the silent majority one citzen at a time. Thomas Jefferson would be proud of Glenn. Who cares whether he is a Mormon or a Catholic? This guy is funny, on target and he rocks!

Anonymous, I did live in Logan and in Rexburg from 1978-79-where I spent a semester at Ricks(before later moving from my native UK to Australia). Loved most of the people on an individual level, but I probably got lucky. Politically though, most of them held differing views to mine--and I'm not a Socialist, and nor, for the benefit of other readers, is Obama! 'Socialism' seems to be used as a euphemism by too many members for almost any political position that differs from their own!

Beck isn't critical just to be critical. He cares about what is going on in these United States. He has been one of the only consistent voices over the past 2-3 years that has been warning all of us on the flimsy economy. Unfortunately, not enough of us have been paying attention.
