GWU will be gone within a decade. It is riding the wave of crazed right-wing fanaticism, a few of the leaders will become wealthy, and the losers will be those who thought they were getting an education when all they got was indoctrination. Very sad.

After reading all the comments, I looked at all the Faculty & Adjunct Faculty on their website (18 total).
5 only have degree's from GW.
1 has BS, MS from BYU, PhD from GW.
1 has BS from BYU, BA, MA, PhD from Coral Ridge Baptist University (I believe they are unaccredited).
11 don't have degrees from GW (from my research). Their Bachelor's, Master's, J.D.'s & Ph.D's come from:
University of Missouri, University of Florida, Weber State, BYU, UC-Northridge, University of Utah, Regents College (New York), Harvard, Southern Texas College of Law, Oxford, and Yale. All of these are accredited schools.

I have a hard time accepting the comments about this only being a degree mill with 2/3 of the faculty having legitimate degrees. I also looked through the Bachelor's degree program, it appears challenging. I can't speak to the faculty's views, but I would love to send my kids to a school with a conservative bias.

LVreader - Before I let you get away with bad research, let me point out that most of the non-GW degree holders are not full time on-campus faculty.

One thing to keep in mind is that where one receives their PhD is not as important as who they work with. For instance, I chose a large state institution over Columbia University because of the opportunity I had to work under a better known professor than I would have at Columbia. Would I like to walk around showing off my Ivy League degree? Sure, but it is way more important to be working with the people I work with now.

Conservative bias? Try BYU! There are a dozen other conservative colleges around the country where one can receive an accredited degree other than George Wythe.

I feel very sorry for how this thread has progressed. Being argumentative is far from being helpful. You would think that people would be open-minded enough not to persecute something different; however, you would also think that people would feel resolved enough not to pick a fight with someone who has nothing to lose.

Bottom Line:
I hope that everyone gets what they are looking for. Argument for argument. Judgment for judgment. Education for education. Good luck everyone! Find what makes you succeed!
