...about Cedar City. Cedar City, at an elevation of 5,834 feet has much colder winters than Salt Lake City (4,226 feet elevation. Yes, Cedar City is at a more southerly location, but it has a much higher elevation. It is not unusual for residents there to spend most of January with below zero temperatures.

You apparently didn't consider that when writing that comment you also projected the "Salt Lake County is all that counts in Utah" view that others out of the larger city believe is prevalent here...it doesn't matter if the bees are in Cedar City because they won't ever make it to Salt Lake? It doesn't matter if Cedar City citizens have to be concerned about killer bees?

Hopefully you didn't really mean that.

Southern Utah is having a hard enough time right now. The recession, largely ignored up here, is very real in Southern Utah.
