Well once again it sounds as if Ogden City is giving up on there LOW_ income residents and tryin to pass the buck once again..
The marshall white center is a great place but at the same time is hard to run ie trying to keep the crime and drug activities down. I like OWCAP but i feel that if they take over the Marshal White center there not going to be able to keep up with the fast growing OGDEN.
The Marshall white can only handle so many persons my question is why dont the city or one of these persons that has extra cash by the old Golds Gym and turn it in to a place for our youth to develope......

As a former resident of Ogden I say keep it open and under city control. Godfrey has not done anything good for the city, why do you folks keep voting for him?

Marshall White Center is a good thing and in a poor part of the city. Keep it open.

I've heard from a trusted low-income, non-profit official that OWCAP has undergone some tremendous positive changes under new leadership over the past years. OWCAP has been dedicated to serving low-income residents and would appear to be even more in sync with the needs of the neighborhood than possibly even the City itself. Hopefully as more and more information is provided that the more trust and understanding can be brought to bear on these administrative changes.
