Herbert says he's not making dramatic changes but is looking to hire a new chief of staff, a spokesperson and possibly other senior-level advisers. Sounds to me like Herbert will replace anyone with a reasonable, moderate political philosophy. I can only hope this all backfires on him when he realizes the people of Utah are growing more moderate and reasonable every day.

They don't come any better than Neil Ashdown. I worked in the Governor's Office with him and always thought him to be not only extremely intelligent, but one of the nicest guys you could work with. What a great opportunity for him and his family.

Neil is the pride of Lander. He is one of the greatest people to come from Wyoming. He will serve Ambassador Huntsman well. He will be missed.

From planting poles to install satellite systems, to having met his wife while studying in Italy, to having to move to New York to acquire his PHD, to moving back to Utah and living in a relative's basement, to being the right hand man of several Utah governors, to now having to move to China to follow his destiny, this Wyoming kid has come a long way and and you ain't seen nothing yet.

I wish him the best that life has to offer.

Growing up with Neil this is no surprise, congratulations to him and his family. I hope all goes well for him. I am sure he will be missed in Utah, but he will represent all of us well.
