Grrrrr!! So tell me again why people are against a government sponsored healthcare program? We need it terribly. Those same people don't seem to mind our legislators having free medical care for themselves and their families for life, but somehow they don't seem to think we, as mere citizens, should have the same basic care. It is criminal and once again the middle class picks up the tab for everything...btw, the middle class is slowing becoming extinct.

We are against a government sponsored program because they have already PROVED themselves unable to run such a program. Spend some time at any VA hospital and watch your government in action. Do you really want all medical services to run like the VA? I don't. I have no reason to believe they would run any other healt system any different.

Since IHC wants to up my insurance costs by %17 this year, I don't think the extra "tax" is very well hidden.

I don't know about the VA hospital, but the military insurance my dad had was outstanding. What were those reasons something like that can't work for all of us?

To tax health care is the most disgusting tax they can ever come up with. While these illegals are basking in the taxing of those who are paying for health care is criminal and unjustified. Just because a few can pay for their own health care does not justify this tax. And why did this legislation and tax get passed without public knowledge? Once again we see how the media is used to pass disinformation to citizens.

This means that those barely able to have health insurance are burdened with also paying for a socialized health care program. Make the illegals pay as they go and make them responsible for their criminal abuse of american people. That's all this tax is for, to further the cause and harboring of illegals aliens in Utah.

It's a tax that makes one want to hate their government and those we elect who are putting the american people further in to debts they have not incurred. The one question is, will insurance pay the tax or will the sick and dieing with insurance pay the tax as a separate cost? If insurance pays it, look for more expensive insurance premiums.

Scare tactics. Totally bogus numbers.

Those who pay for their own health care pay the highest rate. Insurance companies negotiate lower fees so doctors charge cash payers more to make up the difference.

The ranks of the uninsured include illegals who should go home to their country.

Now.

The media should not try to ignore this fact.
