Teaching these children to save and spend is a good idea and should be carried on through high school. Also they should be taught the pit falls of credit cards of every kind. Teach them that the money they earn is theirs and it is being wasted by giving it to banks and credit card companies. Every cent paid as interest and fees on cards is money taken out of their budget and take home pay. I never could understand people willing to give their 'after' taxes income to banks to use a credit card and ATM's. Especially those on low incomes from Utah low wages. A penny saved is a penny earned and its more pronounced as they get out in the real world. Putting money aside in savings can have a big impact on individual financial stability. As I have always done, pay yourself and savings first, every thing else will take care of itself as you spend more wisely.
That is a great idea! But what about the boys? It's just as important that the boys know how to prioritize and save money. After all, most boys these days will need the extra money to pay alimony. Seriously, though, when they marry someday they'll find that both people need to have learned the money skills so that the family can be more successful. If the woman is spending all her money on hair or clothes it's not fair to the rest of the family. And if the man is going into debt to buy a stupid truck when he can't afford one, it hurts the family. It's an important skill for ALL people to learn.
Generally, most girls have no concept of money. Everyone knows the cost of raising girls as apposed to boys is much greater. The money spent on girls makeup alone will balance the US deficit. Just take a walk at any Mall and see how many girl stores compared to boy stores there are. I rest my case.
Follow conservatives latest role model. Get implants, dress provocatively and pass out reveling photos and riches will come your way even if you're functionally illiterate. Just smile and say:"I love Jesus."
hahahaa really most girls have no concept of money? Maybe the girls you know. And maybe the parents (and the men who buy them things) are treating them like they're princesses and spoiling them completely rotten. I'm a girl and I've always been very thrifty. Cheap, in fact. I'm much better equipped to manage money than my brothers and husband. They'll spend a ton of money on video games and food. I spend 0 money on myself most of the time. Necessities include make-up, which unfortunately is incredibly expensive. Women's expenses (necessary and otherwise) are more expensive because the business people and companies see that they are necessities and women have to buy them, so they jack up the price. Very unfair. Which is why I have old out-of-style clothes and my husband has nice ones. That's hardly the girls' fault though. And maybe you should stop buying your girlfriend little trinkets making her think she should have them. And stop telling spoiling your little girls. They'll just get used to it.
You sound like a girl I want to marry, but you are already taken, dang it. A cheap girl? You mean to tell me they really exist? Girls like you are hard to come by. Your husband is really, really lucky!
Cheap girls can be found. Just find one that doesn't think she's entitled to have everything she wants because her daddy and brothers did everything for her when she was growing up. Find a girl who is independent and has lived on her own before getting married. Find a woman who is willing to work hard to earn the things she wants rather than expect them. The only way you can find these girls is by looking. Since they're independent, they're not batting their eyelashes and puckering in order to get a date with the guy in the corvette. They're not desperate for a man to take care of them. And more than likely they're not as shiny because they don't spend a ton of money on makeup and hair products. Good luck on your search! They're out there, just don't get sidetracked by the tan, shiny blonde goodies. :)
