Could we please have the names of the county and state officials who met with Hayes in the closed door session?
Why do I hear tiny violin music? Obviously they need to look at all the parcels, since there was a lot of fishy stuff going on. The minerals aren't going anywhere.
I love her t-shirt by the way. Says everything doesn't it.
Boo hoo: Mr. Hayes received one of those shirts as a gift last night but declined to try it on in front of the crowd. It may have fit his body, but not his politics!
Mr. Hayes...........I am a resident of Vernal Utah and was at the meeting here, may I first appologize for the rude treatment you and others received at that meeting.
I think the way they responded to your remarks was redicules, and it did appear that everyone here is "a redneck" as one speaker so remarked, there were more OIL people there who probably don't live in Vernal and really have no interest except the job.
The person 3 people down from me had such liquor breath that I was worried about getting drunk just from sitting that close. Our town is dependent on the oil fields for growth, it seems that the citizens here are also to blame for raising prices on rent and products to abuse the non-drill families. When rent goes 3-5 times the before oil prices then it is very hard for a regular working person to afford to live here I know of some that had 6-8 people living in one place just to be able to afford the rent.
