Robert Just I remember winning several Braille reading contests as well.
I wish more kids from Utah could compete, but major Utah newspapers no longer sponsor the event. The entry fee is several thousand dollars, so many school districts cannot afford it.
Utah Jude: The registration fee is $100 for each school that wishes to enter. Given the benefits for all the spellers at each school, this doesn't seem too steep. What does each school spend on kickballs?
