Brad you are an inspiration to all, you are one fantastic human being. First of
all God made who you are but I have to give a lot of credit to your two
wonderful parents. Keep being the person you are, you don't know who you might
be helping by doing what you are doing. You might be changing someone else's
life by being the example you are. Give your mom a hug for me
Brad, Thank you for doing such a wonderful job! Peter Clays in my
great-great-great grandfather and Civil War Veteran. I hope to make it over
there to visit his grave site soon!
Brad, I was truly inspired by your maturity in your youth. My mother in law
just past away and was raised in Copperton and Bingham area. The stories she
would tell are amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people she
talked about are buried there. You are a great example and I have shared the
article with many other people.
Brad you truly inspired me at HOSA conference. I read your story and it seems
you continue to amaze the world! Good Job young lad
I read your story on the internet so I do not know on what page your story ran,
but it should have been Front Page News. You are the example the world needs
more of! God bless you and your efforts.
Great reporting and great story...thanks Brad! Thanks Deseret News! Wonderful

Great job Kiddo! I would love to help you if you need help! This is such an
admirable thing you are doing. I too have been concerned about what to do to
restore this cemetery. Youa re terrific!
Brad:I have ancestors who lived and died in Bingham, and I never even knew
where the cemetery was. My genealogy information about some of these people is
incomplete. The article said that you had made a record of those buried in the
Bingham Cemetery. I grew up in Salt Lake City, but I now live in California. I
would like to get some information from you. How do I contact you? Or can you
Some days this website (the comments section) is full of negativity. Mormons
insulting non-mormons. Non-mormons insulting mormons. I don't know
and I don't care what Brad's religions affiliation is. The world needs more
youth like him. This was a great article.
Very nice. Hat's off to you Brad. Loved your statement: "...never
underestimate the power of a youth volunteer!!" Nice
Brad I knew you were an amazing young man in my English class a few years ago,
and this is just one more thing that proves it!You have done
yourself, your family, and your school proud! It was nice to see you
a few weeks ago, and I hope I can see you again sometime in the future. Good
luck with graduation, good luck in college, and continued success in this
project!!It IS a great day to be a MINER!!
You Sir, are an amazing young man. Thank you for all you have done !
What an inspiration this young man is!
Years ago the Bingham Canyon Lions Club started a clean up effort at the
cemetary so that families could come back and find their loved ones graves. But
with the efforts of this dedicated young man, many more are returning and
finding their ancestors. He has done a tremendous service to the community of
Bingham. Thank you for the hours and hours and all the volunteers that helped
with this wonderful project.
You have made a difference. So many of us want to make a difference and you
sure have inspired me.
As marvelous as this is, would be wonderful if the paid city workers could do
the same for some of the older smaller cemeteries....I realize some are way too
large to even try, but there are a dozen smaller cities who could do it....
Thanks for being a great example to the youth in our community!!! We need more
youth like this. My son is completing his Eagle project and it is nice to have
Thank you for this uplifting story !
What a wonderful use of time. I especially like that the story reported he was
able to get a headstone for the veteran, from the VA Administration. It is good
that our country cares enough about veterans that the Administration is able to
provide headstones for them. May God always bless the efforts of this young
Wow what a beautiful and inspiring story! what an incrediable young man!!He
motivates me to do something better with my life. I cannot believe he is only 18
years old! Brigham City is sure fortunate to have such a caring and selfness
individual. Thank you for sharing his story, and thank you Brad for being able to
understand and appreciate the sacrifice of those that have gone before you. The
world needs more Brad Jencks's.
