Despite success, Swift is grounded

She is the Elvis of our era; she influences people.

Her hits, "Change", "Love Story" and "tear drops" are solid songs that have a high level of complexity; she is very gifted.

She has a gift from God; however, it is her drive and faith that take her to the upper levels. She just does not sit there waiting for it to happen, rather she makes it happen.

The "drive" part should be a lesson to each of us. She used to practice music writing and guitar playing four hours a day, even until her finger tips were bleeding. While others were playing video games, she was out performing wherever she could get a gig.

She is the perfect example of "doing all you can do" after you pray. Of, "don't wait for God to bless you", but rather, "Ask God to Bless your actual work".

Hopefully, some of her fans will present her with her very own personalized set of scriptures, and some DVDs.

God Bless her that she can avoid the pitfals of fame, the drugs, and etc.

Hopefully she can even write a few Christ centered hymns someday.

She is totally hot. the one song of hers I heard was terrible, however. But the hotness makes up for it.

I knew Elvis personally.
I knew hundreds of major stars of days gone by and now.
SHE IS NOT the Elvis of our time.
Ran into her in the market in Hendersonville.
Uppity attitude.
Nose in the air.
She has a long way to go, so hopefully a true talent can sustain and make an impact in the world for true principles of brotherly love, charity, kindness, service to mankind, MORALS, Godly behavior, MODESTY, etc.
There are thousands with equal talent. Only a few get their opportunity to shine en masse.
Sex (hotness) NEVER MAKES UP for character
attitude and longevity.
Only time will tell. The MACHINE that makes stars is as flighty as the panting robots who make celebrities their God.

Unlike many her age, Taylor actually knows how to play her Taylor guitar. This sets her apart.
Not the Best Vocals! | 10:09 a.m. May 22, 2009
Taylor is very talented, but her vocals are lacking. She has never been a strong singer and I don't like her performing skills either. She does not have natural rythm and looks very awkward on stage. But she is very creative and is a good song writer. She writes songs that the teenage demographic relates to. She has a sweet and fun personality and that, combined with her commercial look, is driving her fame and fortune at this point. Her Videos are very good but you can credit the producers and directors of the videos for their success. Overall, I give her a B

Ugh...her music is terrible. And maybe she should be an actress instead because she's apparently really good at convincing people that she's nice and grounded. Being a snob isn't being grounded. Treating people like they are equal to her in their worth (whether they have singing talent or not) is being grounded.

And thanks Sharon in Tennessee for your comment. I couldn't agree with you more!

I'm laughing at all the people bashing Taylor and pretending to have met her.

Have you attended her current live concert? So far all the reviews have been glowing and those who were there(thousands of them)have said Taylor's singing was great.

Furthermore, fans who have met Taylor personally have ALL said how friendly and warm she is in person.

Face it, Taylor is the genuine article--both in terms of talent and character and her career is on the upwards trajectory...
