When you consider the number of people that indescriminatly breed cats and don't bother to take care of them; I think I'd rather put up with this guy and his rat farm. mabey he sould consider rabbits!

If this guy needs backup to catch escaped rodents, that means they DO escape! I certainly wouldn't want to risk the inadvertent introduction of domestic mice and rats on a large scale into a residential neighborhood in the case of a fire or earthquake. A rat's a rat!

IF there is a earthquake large enough to destroy his home than the whole residential area would be destroyed as well. Do you realized how many rats and mice are around and not seen already in our neighborhoods? If you actually read the article it said that he rarely has to use the traps. Breeding rats is a strange thing for most of us but if this guy has a safe setup and passes inspections with animal control why not let him breed his rats?

If the public only knew how many people actually breed rodents in their homes anyway people would realize there is no need for concern here as long as proper precautions are taken.
