This article makes it sound like the Federal government has money of its own to give. It doesnt.
The Federal government only has money that it has taken from taxpayers around the nation or that it has borrowed or printed in their names.
Of course, the federal government needs funds for its legitimate functions but it must never be forgotten where these funds come from.
So when someone steals something from you and then gives a very small portion of that back it's considered a gift? Don't be fooled. We're getting robbed by the government.
