Anonymous missed the point of the whole article. You don't know what lessons Mr. Ruff learned and taught the past 30+ years. You sound like some political journalists we know.

He is actually one of the most realistic financial forecasters, and prepared my family and a lot people for the worst, so even if it didn't get that bad, we were still better off than our spendthrift neighbors.
In my life I'm going to look for the good. I'm not going to look for all the reasons I shouldn't be happy with what is at hand. I'm not going to be afraid but full of hope.
Ruff said it can be scary to marry and to start a family without financial security assured, but that shouldn't stop or delay any young Mormon's plans.
Since when is marrying young and having too many children "living the gospel"???
