The Aztec baseball team is the best!!!!!!
Tough LUCK YEWTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yah, and for two years the football team got the best of people too... but then it all came crashing down.
I was at the game and had great time. I thought Strasburg's off speed stuff was more impressive than the 100 mph fastballs. That ball would move a foot when it arrived at the plate.
As for 'Aztec baseball' and his comment above, it's pretty obvious that you are a pathetic BYU fan posing as a SDSU fan. How do we know this? #1, there is no such thing as an SDSU fan. #2, the miss-spelling of the word Utes as "Yewts" is purely a Utah County phenomenon that reflects poorly on the education system down there.
I was at the game and the kid is just plain filthy. Seemed like he was just working on his game because he threw tons of off speed stuff. Looked like he treated the Utes kind of like and extended spring training game.
Good to see Kuroczko and Cron, get ahold of Strasburg with 5 hits. Two RBI's is 1/6 of his annual total. Good job boys.
Admittedly, I was quite underwhelmed by Strasburg. He seemed to throw more fastballs inthe 7th, but before that not as many. Glad to see him, but a bit disappointed...
WHAT??????? That is nothing. Cottonwood has 5 pitchers that do that, and 6 more on the JV that throw 95. We even have Sophs that throw low 90s. Have you seen our 8th graders... .we got a couple that hit 85.
Don't believe me... ask ANY CW parent. They will even tell you they saw the gun. LOL
I hardly think a BYU fan would claim SDSU #1 when BYU will at least finish in a tie with SDSU for second place - doesn't make sense
I'm destined to watch/listen to the Utes on Gametracker and Audio. Please get a new baseball announcer. One who knows the mound is not the plate and has more loyalty to the home team!!
Your pictures don't give enough credit to Kuroczko. He tripled, singled, scored and had 1 RBI. You showed his error and missed PO. What's up?
Marty- "miss-spelling" is spelled "mis"-spelling, unless, of course, you were talking about Tori Spelling. Then it would be "Miss Spelling".
sorry the one player who throws 93 is supposed to go to copper hills.
another home grown talent in easton gust is not playing for one of the local schools. i dont expect to keep all of them in state but atleast a couple
At least the Yewts won the Sugar Bowl! Football is the only important sport, because that's the only one they are actually someone consistent in, so it's only important because they can win. All other sports aren't important. Go Yewts!
